Waterwerks Window Cleaning

A local crew that shows up, cleans well, and charges what it quoted

Waterwerks is an exterior cleaning company working the Quad Cities on both sides of the river. Window cleaning is our core work; the rest of the exterior is what customers kept asking us to handle while we were there.

What we actually do

Most of our week is residential glass. Exterior windows get cleaned with a water-fed pole and deionized water, which means the water dries with nothing left in it — no spots, no soap film, and no ladder leaning against your gutters. Interiors get done by hand, with the sills and tracks vacuumed and wiped, because that is the part people actually notice from inside.

Around that, we clean gutters, soft wash siding and roofs, and run a surface cleaner over driveways and patios. Every one of those uses the gentlest method that will actually do the job. Pressure is the last tool we reach for, not the first, because a pressure washer in the wrong place will strip a shingle, fur a cedar board, or push water behind vinyl faster than it will clean anything.

How we price

Quote-only, and firm. We look at the property, count the glass or measure the surface, and give you a fixed number before we start. It does not move because the job took longer than we thought, and there is no hourly meter running while we set up. If we find something mid-job that changes the scope — a broken seal, a rotted fascia board, a stain that will not come out — we stop and tell you before doing anything about it.

What the day looks like

  1. We confirm the day before, and give you an arrival window rather than a vague "sometime Tuesday."
  2. We walk the property with you if you are home, and flag anything worth knowing about: failed seals, screens that will not survive removal, caulk that is already gone.
  3. We set up, hook to an outside spigot, and work. Interior work gets drop cloths and shoe covers.
  4. We walk it again at the end. If something is not right, we fix it while the truck is still in the driveway — that is the whole point of the walkthrough.

The window washers did an amazing job. From the first contact through the end. They were respectful, informative, and the results have already been complimented by friends and neighbors. I will use this service again. It was so nice to see great work ethic from the staff. Thanks so much!

Was absolutely impressed. Pricing was fair and reasonable. They showed up on time, actually used DI water. When finished, every window was absolutely crystal clear and spotless. Screens were cleaned with an actual screen cleaner!

Showed up exactly on time. Did an excellent job. Very time efficient. I am very pleased. Tech was polite and a nice young man. Many things are difficult for me to keep up on in my 70's, Waterwerks is a godsend. Thank you.

Working with us

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and will send a certificate before the job if you, your property manager or your HOA want one on file. Just ask when you book.
Do I need to be home?
For exterior-only work, no. We need outside water access and a clear path around the house. For interior glass someone has to let us in, and we schedule those in windows you choose.
What happens if it rains?
Rain does not spot glass cleaned with deionized water, so light rain is not automatically a cancellation. Storms, high wind and lightning are — we call you, and we move you to the next open slot rather than pushing you to the back of the list.
How do you take payment?
After the walkthrough, not before. Card, check or cash. There is no deposit for a standard residential job.
